Description
"The 2005 A & M Special Selection was sourced from vines over 100 years of age and raised in new French oak for 15 months. This black/purple-colored wine reveals a brooding nose of floral notes, scorched earth, truffle, espresso, blackberry, and chocolate. Dense, layered, and thick on the palate, it has superb concentration, well-concealed tannin, and 4-6 years of further aging potential. Still tightly wound, the finish is nevertheless long and fruit-filled. (..)"
