Domaine Coche‑Dury – The Timeless Excellence of the Côte de Beaune
A Family Legend, Masterpiece of Subtlety
Passed down from generation to generation, this tiny estate of about 7 hectares embodies the supreme art of Chardonnay in Côte de Beaune. The carefully preserved plots produce wines of exceptional intensity and precision, driven by the rigor and delicacy of Benoît & Hervé Coche.
Prestigious Terroirs and Respectful Viticulture
Spread between Meursault (villages and Premiers Crus) and Auxey-Duresses, the vines are cultivated with great care, with extremely limited yields. The grapes are hand-harvested, carefully sorted, and worked without excessive sulfites to preserve their original vitality.
Meticulous Vinification, Careful Aging
The juices ferment slowly in barrels (20-50% new depending on the cuvée), with precise stirring and long aging duration (18 to 24 months). Attention to detail at each stage ensures a palate that is both structured and of silky elegance.
Signature Style: Purity, Energy, and Complexity
Coche-Dury wines are immediately recognizable: vibrant tension, chiseled minerality, creamy texture, and spectral length. Each vintage expresses a perfect balance between discreet power and rare finesse.
