General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS)
Welcome to World Web Wines SA. Thank you for placing your trust in us. These general terms and conditions set out the rules applicable to the purchase of wines on our website.
1. Product compliance guarantee
We guarantee that the products you purchase are those shown in the photos.
Each reference is accompanied by several high-quality photos, showing the condition of the product (label, capsule, fill level, etc.).
If several items are in stock, the photos show the bottle in the least good condition of the batch to ensure total transparency.
2. Product claims
Our prices are calculated fairly and without additional risk margin. We therefore generally do not replace defective wines and refunds are excluded. No return will be accepted without prior notification and our agreement.
Wine is a natural product that can improve but also deteriorate with age and external conditions (bacterial contamination, humidity, temperature, light, vibrations). We therefore do not accept claims concerning so-called “corked” wines or wines with aroma defects.
We encourage you to consult our guide “Serving old vintages”, which provides practical advice for tasting and preserving old vintages.
3. Orders and product availability
Youth protection
Swiss law prohibits the sale of spirits and aperitifs to persons under 18, as well as wine and cider to persons under 16. Purchases in the online shop are possible from the age of 18. In order to comply with legal provisions, particularly in the online shop, we reserve the right to ask for your date of birth.
