The Bordeaux region is the most important quality wine-producing region in France and in the world.

BOURGOGNE


Some of the most interesting wines in the world come from Bourgogne. Moreover, the Bourgogne region produces two of the most popular wines in France: Beaujolais and Chablis.

ALSACE


Alsace is one of the most beautiful wine regions in France. It produces excellent refreshing white wines, both dry and sweet. They are so typical that the grape varieties used are mostly found only in Alsace and nowhere else in France.

VALLEE DU RHONE


It is divided into 2 commonly distinguished wine regions: Northern Rhône Valley (from Vienne to Valence), in the north, and Southern Rhône Valley (from Montélimar to Avignon), in the south.


The most renowned crus are, for reds, Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage and Châteauneuf du Pape and for whites, Condrieu and Clairette de Die.


CHAMPAGNE


Champagne is a sparkling wine that bears the name of its appellation.


Three major grape varieties are the basis for the production of champagnes: pinot noir, pinot meunier (for red grape varieties) and chardonnay (as a white grape variety).
