The Burgenland, which borders the Hungarian border, is the birthplace of the greatest sweet white and red wines in Austria: the Neusiedlersee.


Alois Kracher father and son have greatly contributed to putting this region on the world wine map with their extraordinary range of sweet whites (often expertly crafted blends). Each year, a series of samples is taken, depending on the depth of the botrytis, and the higher the batch number, the more wonderfully sweet the wine will be.
