Vintages

The Arbois appellation is located in the Jura, in eastern France, and is one of the oldest AOCs in the region, created in 1936. It takes its name from the town of Arbois, which is considered the wine capital of the Jura. The vineyards cover about 800 hectares spread over 13 communes, with soils mainly composed of limestone marl that bring great minerality to the wines.

Arbois wines are distinguished by their diversity. The white wines are mainly made from the Chardonnay and Savagnin grape varieties, offering fresh, complex wines that are suitable for aging. The red wines, made from Poulsard, Trousseau, and Pinot Noir, are elegant, refined, and well-structured. The rosé wines, often produced from Poulsard, are light and fruity, perfect for summer meals.

Arbois wines are also aged in oak barrels, which gives them woody aromas and a beautiful structure. They pair wonderfully with a wide range of dishes, from seafood to red meats, and including aged cheeses.
