Château d'Yquem 1939
Château d'Yquem 1939
"Temperatures constantly 1 to 2° lower throughout the cycle; rainfall is normal, except for a surplus in August. The harvest begins slowly, at the end of September few barrels are collected; in October, the 4 weeks of uninterrupted harvest do not exceed 17°. A reflection of a particularly cold climate, a vintage requiring a skillful blending of very diverse lots."

Tasting notes:
Intense nose and young crème brûlée. Its aromas reveal themselves with age and are of remarkable clarity and purity.
On the palate, it is persistent with an unparalleled finish and intensity.
