"(...) The Beychevelle 1975 showed early maturity and was well-developed in its early years (...). It then firmed up and now stands out as one of the wines from the 70s most suitable for long aging. With a deep ruby color, a ripe and spicy nose of leather and blackcurrant, it presents itself as very full-bodied, massive, and muscular on the palate. It remains to be seen whether the tannins of this unusually powerful Beychevelle will one day blend into the whole. (...) "
