Description
Les Referts, located just below Les Combettes and bordering Meursault, benefit from a clay-limestone soil rich in clay, which gives the wines great density and complexity. Marc and Alexandre Bachelet cultivate a small parcel of old vines planted in the 1960s, and thanks to their meticulous expertise, they fully express the exceptional terroir.
The wine immediately captivates with generous aromas of pear, white peach, brioche, and toasted bread, complemented by subtle notes of chamomile and lemon. On the palate, it stands out with its ample texture, pure flavors, and beautiful harmony, balanced by precise acidity. The finish is long, elegant, and slightly spiced. This Premier Cru promises great aging potential and will pair wonderfully with gourmet dishes like roasted turbot or Bresse chicken.
