"An incredible new wine from Gioia Cresti. Fabulous on the nose, with dense dark spicy fruits and smoky, with layers of supple, plentiful tannin at the wines base. Mouth-filling, dense spicy fruit, Full-bodied, lush and rounded, with voluptuous volume of fruit. Modest acid balance, with velvety tannins and a long, fruity finish. Theres a lovely richness and slight decadence to this fabulous wine. Aged for 20 months in barrel and 8 months in bottle, Best after 2011. Only 500 cases made. "
