Description
The Chardonnay Les Champs Rouges 2022 from Domaine Labet is an exceptional white wine from the Côtes du Jura appellation. This Chardonnay is made from 45-year-old vines grown on decalcified clay soils with a limestone base. The vinification without additives and aging for 20 months in 650-liter barrels give it a generous texture and a subtle buttery note. On the palate, it reveals a brilliant golden color, aromas of ripe fruit, toasted notes, and herbs, with a lively mouthfeel and pronounced minerality. This balanced and creamy wine offers impressive length.
