Description
The Domaine de l'Arlot Clos des Forêts Saint-Georges 2016 is a Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru of great finesse. The nose is elegant and precise, revealing aromas of wild strawberry, cranberry, wild hedgerow, with a subtle hint of graphite. On the palate, the wine has a silky texture and fine tannins, with a beautiful depth of flavors. The red fruit evolves into darker notes, offering great complexity. The finish is persistent with a slight minerality. This wine is made with 50% whole clusters, adding to its complexity. The maturation in new oak barrels brings an elegant woody dimension. This vintage shows excellent aging potential and pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as duck, goose, or game birds. A standout cuvée for collectors, reflecting the domain’s expertise and Burgundy's terroir.
