Angelo Gaja, fourth generation of the Gaja family, has been leading the family estate created in 1859 in Barbaresco since 1961.
Elected several times as "Man of the Year" by the magazines "Decanter" and "Winespectator", he is today the owner of the most renowned estate in Italy.
Although the flagship wine of the estate is the 'classic' Barbaresco, Angelo Gaja declares in this DOC his three 'grand crus' belonging to the Barbaresco area, namely Sorì San Lorenzo, Sorì Tildin, and Costa Russi.
Two other crus from the territory of the DOCG Barolo, Sperss and Conteisa, are also designated in DOC Langhe.
