Located above the village of Flagey-Échezeaux and in the plain, this vineyard is situated between Vougeot and Vosne-Romanée in Côte de Nuits.

Les Grands-Échezeaux extend the Musigny on the southern axis of the Côte, with a less undulating, more regular design. They are separated from it by the lower part of the combe d’Orveau.

The square structure of virile tannins demands roasted lamb, rib of beef, and game meats, both feathered and especially furred.
