"In 1989, 1990, 1994, and 1995 the conditions were favorable enough for the Perrin family to decide to make a special cuvée in honor of their father.
The Château de Beaucastel Hommage à Jacques Perrin from these years was mostly made from very old Mourvèdre vines, producing small quantities of intensely ripe and concentrated fruit. Those lucky enough to have tasted it will never forget it. Truly "a great wine"."
