Château d'Yquem 1943
Château d'Yquem 1943
"Dry and warm in spring, the weather will continuously cool down, until it becomes cold and rainy during the harvest. 100 mm of water falls in the second half of September and a hailstorm causes significant damage. This is followed by an explosion of Botrytis, which 2 weeks without rain allow to concentrate, then to harvest at the beginning of October. A vintage marked by an abundance of rot, whose success depends on the experience of the cellar men."
