It is produced 80% from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and 20% from Merlot grapes, selected and harvested manually between the third week of September and the second week of October. After a long fermentation at controlled temperature, the wine ages for at least 18 months in French oak barrels.
The Guado de Gemoli is characterized by a great chromatic complexity, which fully expresses the characteristics of the Bolgheri territory. The nose opens with an intense bouquet of ripe red fruits, enriched with noble notes of vanilla and spices such as tobacco, licorice, cedar, and cinnamon. On the palate, it is elegant and pleasantly complex. This wine is capable of providing a persistent, decisive, and smooth finish.
