Located in the heart of the Bolgheri DOC appellation, the Azienda Agricola Chiappini embodies Tuscan discretion combined with a rare demand for quality. Founded in the 1970s by Giovanni Chiappini, the son of farmers from the Marches, the family estate has established itself among the finest names on the Tuscan Coast thanks to its artisanal, sustainable, and deeply human approach.
Terroir & philosophy
Located on the famous Via Bolgherese, alongside iconic estates like Ornellaia, Chiappini cultivates a dozen hectares of vines on clay-sandy soils rich in minerals, a few kilometers from the sea. The climate, both breezy and sunny, allows for a slow and steady ripening, ideal for Bordeaux grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, as well as Sangiovese.
The estate is certified organic, with constant attention to biodiversity, living soil, and gentle winemaking, respecting the fruit and the vintage.
Vinification & style
The harvest is manual, and vinification is carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. Aging takes place in French barrels of different volumes and ages, depending on the desired expression. The Chiappini style is both structured and refined, with a beautiful purity of fruit, natural elegance, and strong aging potential.
