Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé – Guardian of the Treasures of the Côte de Nuits

An ancestral estate, symbol of viticultural nobility

Founded in 1450, the estate has belonged to the de Vogüé family since the 15th century and now counts twenty generations. In 1925, Count Georges created the true modern structure, which his granddaughters Claire de Causans and Marie de Ladoucette manage today .

13 ha of jewels bordered by Jurassic limestone

The estate owns 7.2 ha of Grand Cru Musigny (including 4.2 ha in Petits-Musignys), 2.7 ha of Bonnes-Mares, 0.56 ha in Amoureuses, 0.27 ha in other Premiers Crus, and 1.8 ha of Chambolle village .

Expert team & demanding practices

Until 2021, François Millet oversaw the vinifications, then replaced by Jean Lupatelli. Éric Bourgogne has been vineyard manager since 1996, and Jean-Luc Pépin commercial director since 1988 .

Viticulture close to organic, directed towards the terroir

Respectful soil management, manual harvesting, aging partly without new wood, increased whole harvest to preserve purity and finesse .

Signature style: elegance, finesse, and eternity

The wines offer a pure reading of the terroir: chiseled structure, refined fruit, silky texture, saline finish. Musigny embodies aristocratic elegance, Bonnes-Mares controlled power, Amoureuses joyful delicacy .
