Based in the heart of Chassagne-Montrachet, Domaine Ramonet stands as one of Burgundy’s most iconic producers. Founded in the early 20th century and brought to prominence by the legendary Pierre Ramonet, the estate is now led by Noël and Jean-Claude Ramonet, who uphold its tradition of excellence and terroir-driven precision.

With over 17 hectares under vine, the domaine owns plots in many of the Côte de Beaune’s finest sites, including Montrachet Grand Cru, one of the rarest and most coveted white wines in the world.

Philosophy and winemaking

Vineyard work is traditional and sustainable, with a strong emphasis on low yields, hand harvesting, and careful selection. In the cellar, fermentations are natural, aging is long and done in oak barrels (with a modest percentage of new wood), and the approach is always to highlight the site, not the technique.

The aim: purity, finesse, and precision — letting terroir speak clearly and powerfully.

Wine style
