A pioneering legacy

In the post-war years, Georges Vernay, an iconic figure, worked on the replanting of the slopes of Condrieu, which were then almost abandoned. He became the guardian of Viognier, a white grape variety now recognized worldwide. His daughter Christine, trained as an oenologist and a wine poet, has taken up the torch with a vision of great purity and parcel expression.

Terraced terroirs, sculpted by hand and wind

The estate spans about twenty hectares, including the famous terraced granite slopes of Condrieu, as well as precious plots in Côte-Rôtie, in the lieux-dits Maison Rouge or Blonde du Seigneur. All work is manual, sometimes acrobatic, with the utmost respect for the soil and biodiversity.
