An exceptional heritage, nine centuries of climate in a single estate

Founded in 1731, Bouchard Père & Fils is one of the oldest and most prestigious estates in Burgundy. Over nearly three centuries, this historic house has patiently built a unique heritage: more than 130 hectares of vineyards, including 12 hectares of Grands Crus and 74 hectares of Premiers Crus, spread across the finest terroirs of the Côte d'Or.

The beating heart of the estate is located at the Château de Beaune, a former 15th-century royal fortress, transformed into a natural aging cellar. It is here that the oldest Burgundy vintages still preserved rest, with some bottles dating back to 1846.

A chiseled, elegant style, faithful to the great Burgundian balances

The Bouchard signature is distinguished by its elegance, aromatic precision, and ability to age gracefully. The whites are tense, mineral, racy; the reds are fine, complex, with great purity of fruit. Vinifications are carried out in small containers, with controlled use of wood (20 to 40% new barrels depending on the cuvées), in a style that is always readable and nuanced.
