Domaine de la Pousse d’Or – Burgundy Heritage and Absolute Refinement
A Volnay Legend with International Influence
Anchored in Volnay, the estate is a historic icon of Burgundy, mentioned as early as the 15th century. Taken over in 1997 by Patrick Landanger, then supported by his son Benoît Landanger, it has experienced a new qualitative rise, consolidated by meticulous work in the vineyard and cellar.
Prestigious Terroirs, in Côte de Beaune and Beyond
The estate spans 18 hectares with a rare collection of monopoles and grands crus. Among them:
Volnay 1er Cru Clos de la Bousse d’Or (historic monopole),
Volnay Clos des 60 Ouvrées,
Pommard 1er Cru Les Jarolières,
Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru,
Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses,
Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru,
Clos de la Roche Grand Cru, etc.
The estate has been certified organic since 2014, with a sensitive approach to soils and biodiversity.
Precise Vinifications, Measured Aging
Manual harvesting, meticulous sorting table, gentle macerations, fermentations with indigenous yeasts. Aging in Burgundy barrels (about 30–50% new oak depending on the crus), for 15 to 18 months. The style seeks balance between purity of expression, silky texture, and complexity.
A Signature: Elegance, Depth, Verticality
The wines offer a pure fruit, a chiseled framework, fine tannins, and remarkable energy on the palate. Each climate is respected in its uniqueness: lace in Volnay, refined power in Corton, noble tension in Chambolle.
