Domaine Ogereau — Living Terroir & Family Legacy

Located in Saint‑Lambert‑du‑Lattay, Domaine Ogereau represents five generations of Chenin passion. Now led by Emmanuel with his father Vincent, it is a true living laboratory—where vines, soils, fungi, and native yeasts interact in harmony. The estate is organically certified since 2019 and biodynamic since 2024, with vineyards planted on varied Anjou soils—schist, clay, volcanic spilite, and aeolian sand—that create a complex terroir mosaic.

Natural Viticulture & Winemaking

The estate embraces biodynamic principles—plowing, biodiversity, sheep grazing, and organic compost—while manual, multi-pass harvests ensure grape quality. In the cellar, fermentation occurs naturally, with indigenous yeasts, and long aging in a variety of vessels (tank, amphora, foudre, concrete), minimal sulphur, and a parcel-by-parcel approach.

Wine Style

The Chenin Blancs are crystalline, saline, and deeply mineral. The rare reds, mostly Cabernet Franc, reveal their sense of place with refinement and freshness. Each wine mirrors its origin—delicate yet assertive.
