Domaine Weinbach — Purity, grace, and Grand Cru energy
At the foot of the Schlossberg hill in Kaysersberg lies Domaine Weinbach, a historic Alsace estate founded in 1612. Now led by the Faller family, it is renowned worldwide for its brilliant white wines, shaped by biodynamic viticulture and gentle, thoughtful winemaking.
Weinbach is celebrated for crafting cuvées that express vibrancy, terroir, and soul in every glass.
Philosophy and winemaking
The entire estate is farmed biodynamically, with close attention to soil life and plant health. Harvesting is done by hand, in multiple passes, to capture optimal ripeness and expression.
Vinifications are plot-specific, using native yeasts and minimal intervention. Aging is done in old oak foudres or stainless steel, always with a focus on preserving clarity, tension, and aromatic purity.
Wine style
Weinbach wines are known for their brightness, minerality, and intensity. Rieslings are dry, structured, and precise. Pinot Gris shows depth and salinity. Gewurztraminers balance richness and freshness beautifully. Muscat is floral, zesty, and bone dry.
Each cuvée is a clear, faithful reflection of its place, vintage, and variety — elegant, energetic, and age-worthy.
