Created in 2004 after taking over the family vineyards, Domaine Bruno Colin is now operated by Bruno and his wife Stéphanie, who cultivate approximately 8 hectares spread over 30 plots across five appellations. The estate specializes in white wines from Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny, but also offers reds from Santenay, Maranges, and Chassagne.
Philosophy & Winemaking
The estate practices sustainable viticulture, with manual harvesting, fermentations with indigenous yeasts, and aging in barrels (25–30% new wood) for 12 to 18 months. Parcel-based vinification allows for the preservation of the uniqueness and mineral purity of each terroir.
Signature Cuvées
Chassagne-Montrachet Blanc & Premiers Crus (Les Chaumées, La Boudriotte, En Remilly, Truffière…): fresh, mineral, balanced white wines with elegance and depth.
Puligny-Montrachet (Premiers Crus La Truffière, Demoiselles…): precise, taut Chardonnays with a refined structure.
Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Charmois: a white combining straightness and fruity softness.
Reds: Chassagne Rouge “Vieilles Vignes”, Maranges 1er Cru, Santenay 1er Cru… silky, well-structured reds with delicacy and fruitiness.
Wine Style
Bruno Colin produces wines of great finesse and minerality, tinged with subtle aging. The whites are distinguished by their purity, tension, and salinity, while the reds are noted for their elegance, freshness, and indulgence. The style is clear, balanced, and true to the terroirs.
