Enzo Boglietti — Bold Piedmont Tradition Meets Style
Based in La Morra, in the heart of Piedmont, Enzo Boglietti represents a new wave of Italian winemakers — rooted in tradition but driven by a strong stylistic vision. Since the 1990s, he has developed a range of powerful, precise, and contemporary wines that have earned international acclaim.
Philosophy and Production
From a family of growers, Enzo transformed the small family estate into a renowned property. Today, he farms around 15 hectares across several top Barolo crus (Brunate, Case Nere, Fossati…), with meticulous care in both the vineyard and the cellar.
Hand harvesting, long macerations, and aging in mostly new or recent oak barrels are key to expressing the full intensity of Nebbiolo without sacrificing finesse.
Wine Style
Enzo Boglietti’s wines are deep, focused, and structured. His Barolos are rich and powerful, often marked by bold oak aging that integrates beautifully over time. Expect aromas of dark cherry, licorice, spice, and tar, with firm yet polished tannins.
His other wines (Barbera, Dolcetto, Langhe Nebbiolo…) show the same balance and varietal clarity.
Signature Wines
Barolo Brunate – Deep, structured, built for long aging.
Barolo Fossati – Juicier, more accessible, with elegance.
Langhe Nebbiolo – Pure and precise, a perfect introduction.
Barbera d’Alba – Generous, spicy, and vibrant.
A Contemporary Signature
With his bold, precise style, Enzo Boglietti stands apart in Piedmont. His wines are dense yet elegant — appealing to both lovers of finesse and fans of power. A modern voice anchored in tradition.
