"1972 is a mediocre year, marked by the greenness of grapes lacking maturity. We thought this wine would be to drink quite quickly but a bottle opened blindly in 2017 amazed us. The nose was superb, very complex, not without recalling some beautiful unstemmed Burgundies. The acidity was pronounced but elongated the wine. Impressive for the vintage!"
