A recent adventure with heavy ambition

Founded in 2005 in Dezize-lès-Maranges by brothers Marc and Alexandre Bachelet, the estate quickly took off, with about 22 ha spread over 20 appellations in Côte de Beaune. Their goal: to produce wines "without artifact," precise and expressive.

Respectful viticulture & biodynamic influences

Without official certification, the estate practices sustainable viticulture, inspired by the principles of biodynamics (working according to the lunar calendar, no herbicides, manual harvesting).

The vineyard covers 12 ha of Pinot Noir and 10 ha of Chardonnay, with old vines (average 35–50 years) according to Burgundy, village, 1er and Grand Crus records. ()

Non-interventionist winemaking & balanced aging

The whites are slowly pressed, fermented in 350 L barrels (25% new), aged 12 months then put in vats; the reds benefit from cold-free macerations, with a rate of whole clusters, aging in barrels 18-20 months (10–35% new wood) and delicate racking.

Signature style: purity, tension & relief

The wines reflect a clear and chiseled profile: the whites stand out for their mineral freshness (folatières, referts, Bâtard-Montrachet), the reds (Maranges, Santenay, Puligny-Rouges) offer pure fruit, silky tannins, salinity, and refreshing tension. The Maranges Premier Cru cuvées, such as La Fussière or Clos de la Boutière, are particularly praised for their quality-price ratio.

Essential cuvées

  • Bourgogne Blanc & Rouge: access to the estate's style and finesse

  • Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly, Chassagne/Puligny-Montrachet 1er Crus (Folatières, Referts) and Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru: mineral whites, for aging

  • Maranges 1er Crus – La Fussière, Clos de la Boutière: structured, elegant reds, aged in barrels

  • Santenay, Puligny/Rouges, etc.: expressive reds from varied terroirs
