An emblematic vintage of Margaux, combining expressive power and refined elegance

A prestigious property of the Gasqueton-Baumard family (Taillan Group), Château Lascombes is managed by Florence Le Glatin, director, and Frédéric Spies, technical director. The management is ensured by Nicolas Audebert, oenologist, with a team dedicated to showcasing an exceptional terroir and a refined style.

Terroir & grape varieties

The estate spans 120 ha of deep fine gravel, well-drained, typical of central Médoc. The classic grape variety composition is as follows: Cabernet Sauvignon (~60%), Merlot (~35%), Petit Verdot (~3%), Cabernet Franc (~2%), offering a powerful, fruity, and elegant balance.

Philosophy & practices

Reasoned viticulture, framed by agro-environmental practices. Meticulous soil work, controlled grassing, manual and mechanical harvesting, strict sorting. Vinification is parcel-based, in stainless steel or thermo-regulated wooden vats, with punch-downs adapted according to the vintages. Aging between 16 and 18 months in French barrels (≈ 60% new), seeking a racy style, delicately woody and full of seduction.

Emblematic cuvées
