A wine of goldsmithing orchestrated by the Ducasse family in the tradition of Pauillac
Château Grand‑Puy Ducasse is managed by Emma Ducasse and her brother Julien, the fourth generation within the estate, supported by Pierre Lemaire, head of cultivation, and Louise Bernard, consulting oenologist. Together, they strengthen the classic identity of the vintage while consolidating its freshness and finesse.

Terroir & grape varieties: Garonne gravel and balanced style
The estate covers about 22 ha of well-drained gravel, ancient terraces of the Garonne. The typical blend: Cabernet Sauvignon (~60%), Merlot (~35%), Petit Verdot (~5%), for a balanced Pauillac profile, combining rigor, fruit, and aging potential.

Viticulture & philosophy: precision, environmental respect
Sustainable viticulture with parcel work, selective grassing, manual harvesting with rigorous sorting. Moderate yields for optimal concentration, with a view to preserving the terroir.

Vinification & aging: measured woodiness and pure expression
Vinifications are carried out in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, macerations of 3 to 4 weeks, then aging for 16 to 18 months in French barrels (≈ 50% new). The desired style: finesse of tannins, aromatic tension, and balanced woodiness.

Iconic cuvées
Château Grand‑Puy Ducasse (Grand Vin): deep ruby color, nose of blackcurrant, cedar, graphite, and violet; structured palate, supple tannins, long saline finish.
Belle Étoile du Ducasse: a second wine more fresh and fruity, accessible young, while retaining the tension and elegance of the grand vin.
