A myth born in a monastery

Owned by Moët & Chandon (LVMH), Dom Pérignon is a vintage cuvée since 1921, produced only in exceptional years. It is named after the Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon (1639–1715), a pioneer of blending, delicate pressing, and the use of cork stoppers.

A unique expression of the vintage

Sourced exclusively from the Grand Crus of the Montagne and Côte des Blancs, each cuvée combines Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the same vintage. Aged in cellars for 8–10 years (plenitude 1), or even 15–20 years (P2), or more (P3), it gains depth, density, and length over time.

Style: purity, tension, and evolving elegance

Thanks to aromatic precision (white fruits, citrus, brioche, iodine notes) and fine effervescence, Dom Pérignon balances vibrant freshness and silky texture. The plenitudes reveal a richer and more complex personality, unveiling minerality, spices, and roasted almond.

Essential cuvées

  • Dom Pérignon Vintage: the base of the range, perfect balance between freshness and structure.

  • P2 (Second Plenitude): long aging, increased power and density.

  • P3 (Third Plenitude): extreme rarity, ultimate complexity.

  • Rosé Vintage: over 60 editions, combining Pinot and Chardonnay with fruity intensity.

Philosophy: timeless & visionary

Dom Pérignon embodies “good taste without showiness”: discreet elegance, constant demand, and a sober architecture. Each vintage is born from a creative dialogue between terroir, climate, and oenological demands.
