A family saga since 1912

Founded by the Osborn family over a hundred years ago, D’Arenberg is now led by Chester Osborn, fourth generation. The family history unfolds in iconic wines, bold installations, and unique oenological experiences, reflecting a pioneering and quirky spirit.

An iconic terroir of McLaren Vale

The 197 hectares planted cover a wide variety of grape varieties — Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Roussanne... The well-drained alluvial soils offer optimal ripeness, clusters rich in concentration, and a beautiful aromatic intensity.

Style: exuberance, depth, strong identity

The wines are generous, fruity, with assertive tannins and often a little creative nod in their name. "The Dead Arm Shiraz", powerful and structured, perfectly embodies this bold & unfiltered style, focusing on substance and authenticity.

Innovation: the famous Cube

The icon of the estate is the d’Arenberg Cube, a cubic glass and steel building inaugurated in 2017. Over five levels, it offers tastings, a restaurant, an interactive museum, and sensory experiences – a perfect fusion of art, design, and wine.

Philosophy: tradition & avant-garde

Vineyards managed in organic/biodynamic culture, manual harvesting, basket pressing, respectful aging. Every gesture is designed to enhance the fruit, affirm the terroir, and surprise with the unexpected.
