A family legacy at the top of Pauillac
Château Croizet Bages embodies over two centuries of history on the left bank, in the prestigious terroir of Pauillac. Since 2001, the Viallon family, passionate about wine and architecture, has been working to restore the estate's prestige: rehabilitation of the historic building, revitalization of the vineyard, and qualitative renewal.

Terroir & grape varieties: excellence of Pauillac's gravel
The vineyard extends over 34 hectares, planted on deep gravel resting on limestone. High density (~8,000 vines/ha), average age of the vines 25–30 years. Typical blend: Cabernet Sauvignon (~70%), Merlot (~25%), Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot (~5%). Terroir conducive to elegance, finesse, and aging potential.

Viticulture & philosophy: respectful modernity
Sustainable viticulture ensuring natural balance: controlled grass cover, integrated protection. Manual harvesting in several passes to select perfectly ripe grapes. Objective: respect for the terroir, refined expression of the fruit, and sustainability.

Vinification & aging: affirmed tradition
Parcel-based vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, with gentle pump-overs and long macerations (3–4 weeks). Aging for 16 to 18 months in French oak barrels, 50% of which are new, to combine structure and elegance. Vinification and barrel aging according to the cuvées.
