Founded in 1881 by Cesare Pio, the house of Pio Cesare is one of the great historical signatures of Piedmont. Located in Alba, at the heart of the Langhe region, this family-owned estate has embodied for five generations the classic excellence of Barolo and Barbaresco wines, in a pure, structured, and timeless style.

Now led by Federico Ceretto Pio Boffa, the estate combines tradition and modern precision. The vinifications are gentle, with long macerations, controlled aging in French oak barrels and traditional botti, and a strong desire to let the terroirs express themselves without artifice.
