A terroir classified since the 18th century

Mentioned as early as 1413 for its "boar's rock," the unique clos of Disznókő was recognized as first growth as early as 1732, guaranteeing an exceptional terroir on 110 ha of south-facing volcanic slopes .

Renaissance under elite patronage

Taken over in 1992 by AXA Millésimes (Château Pichon Baron, Quinta do Noval…), the estate was completely renovated, with a gravity-fed cellar designed in 1995 by Dezső Ekler, a great revival that reignited the glory of contemporary aszú .

Parcels, noble grape varieties, and botrytis

The four traditional grape varieties (Furmint, Hárslevelű, Zéta, Yellow Muscat) thrive on clay-volcanic soil, favorable to botrytis thanks to misty mornings and cool river breezes .

Style: purity, tension, and richness of Aszú

Balancing fruit purity, tangy freshness, and the nobility of botrytized aromas, the cuvées – from dry to 6 puttonyos or Eszencia – embody a modern, precise, and refined Aszú .

Iconic cuvées

  • Tokaji Aszú 5 & 6 puttonyos: classic expression rich and balanced

  • Kapi Vineyard Aszú 6 puttonyos: flagship parcel cuvée

  • 1413 Édes Szamorodni and Dry Furmint: dry character variations

  • Aszú Eszencia: exceptional nectar
