An aristocratic estate since 1340
Established in La Morra for nearly 700 years, the Cordero di Montezemolo family embodies the living history of Barolo. Nestled on the Monfalletto hill, the estate spans 28 hectares in a single stretch, with complementary plots in Roero and Langhe.
Organic and committed viticulture
The vineyard is managed with organic farming, with deep respect for the soil, native grape varieties, and natural cycles. Each plot is vinified separately to reveal the personality of its terroir.
Style: finesse, freshness, depth
The estate's Barolos shine with elegance and aromatic intensity. They offer aromas of black cherry, rose petal, sweet spices, and truffle, supported by a fine tannic structure and great mineral energy.
Iconic cuvées
Barolo Monfalletto: from the historical heart of the estate, intense and accessible.
Barolo Gattera: more structured, with notes of precious wood.
Enrico VI: a prestigious cuvée, from the Villero cru, a deep and majestic wine.
Complemented by cuvées in Barbera, Dolcetto, Arneis, and Chardonnay.
Philosophy: living tradition and controlled modernity
Faithful to its history, the estate combines noble heritage with a contemporary approach. Yields are low, harvests are manual, and aging is precise to preserve the authenticity of the fruit.
