An iconic estate of the Côte de Beaune
For several generations, Bonneau du Martray has passionately cultivated 11 unique hectares exclusively spread over the prestigious Grands Crus of Corton and Corton-Charlemagne. This rare plot is the largest in the Côte de Beaune dedicated to these appellations.
An exceptional terroir for exceptional wines
The limestone and clay-limestone soils, combined with an ideal microclimate, give rise to wines of remarkable purity and finesse. Viticulture is conducted with the utmost respect for natural balances, with meticulous work in the vineyard and cellar.
Traditional vinification and extended aging
The grapes are harvested at perfect maturity, carefully sorted, and then fermented in stainless steel tanks and old barrels. Aging takes place in oak barrels of several years for a duration that can exceed 18 months, ensuring a silky texture and perfect balance.
Signature style: purity, power, and elegance
The red wines express a solid but refined tannic structure, aromas of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and beautiful minerality. The whites, from Corton-Charlemagne, are of crystalline elegance, with notes of white flowers, lemon, and a saline finish.
