A passionate commitment to the terroir
Founded in 2003 by Cécile Tremblay on 4 ha of family vineyards taken over since 1921, in Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Nuits, Vosne, and Gevrey, the young winemaker converted the estate to organic and then biodynamic farming as early as 2005, respecting lunar calendars, herbal teas, debudding, and light plowing .
Exceptional vineyard & parcels
With high density (~12,000 vines/ha), Cécile cultivates prestigious parcels: Chapelle-Chambertin (0.36 ha, 80 years), Échézeaux du-Dessus, Clos-de-Vougeot, Vosne-Romanée Les Beaumonts and Les Rouges du Dessus, Chambolle Les Feusselottes, Morey Très Girard, Nuits-St-Georges Aux Murgers, etc. .
Natural winemaking & subtle aging
The harvest is entirely manual, destemmed at 85-90%, fermented in wood (~3 weeks), then aged 15-18 months in barrels (≈ 1/3 new wood), without fining or filtration — a pure winemaking for a crystalline expression of Pinot Noir .
Signature style: purity, tension, and elegance
The cuvées produce vibrant and chiseled Pinot Noirs, with delicate tannins, aromas of black cherry, violet, spices, and saline minerality, offering tannic intensity and length (the Chapelle-Chambertin is described as “sensual and silky”) .
