Aromatic generosity, elegant purity, and sweet-salty balance
A prestigious estate of the Monbazillac appellation, Château Tirecul la Gravière spans approximately 25 hectares of clay-limestone-gravelly soils on terraces. The estate, managed with a philosophy respectful of the terroir, produces sweet and luscious whites that combine aromatic richness, freshness, and length, while maintaining a beautiful mineral salinity.
The plots, on a gentle slope, benefit from optimal exposure to light, on soils rich in clay, limestone, and gravel. The grape varieties consist mainly of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle, cultivated with care to promote concentration and elegance.
Manual harvesting, meticulous sorting, and multiple selections according to the evolution of botrytis. Traditional winemaking, combining stainless steel tanks and old barrels. The aging, lasting 12 to 18 months, is carried out in barrels to preserve roundness, aromatic complexity, and balanced freshness.
The wines are distinguished by aromas of candied fruits (apricot, peach), golden citrus, and honey, complemented by a beautiful saline expression. Enjoyable from 3–5 years, they retain an astonishing liveliness and can be kept up to 20 years depending on the vintages.
Château Tirecul la Gravière Monbazillac: signature luscious sweet wine, rich and elegant.
Ingennoce: a second wine, fresher, fruity, and immediately seductive, perfect as an aperitif or with soft cheeses.
