Innovative authenticity, organic expression, and refined purity

Pioneering in organic farming and energized by the de Conti family, Château Tour des Gendres spans approximately 55 hectares between Bergerac and Sadillac. Founded in the 1980s, the estate embodies visionary viticulture, emphasizing nature, fruity brilliance, and mineral purity, with wines of pronounced freshness and disarming sincerity.

Terroir & grape varieties

Situated on clay-limestone soils with multiple facets, the estate benefits from varied exposures conducive to aromatic diversity. The plots are cultivated with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Carmenère, Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle, depending on the cuvées, with meticulous care and organic farming practices (certified since 1996).

Viticulture & winemaking

100% organic and biodynamic cultivation, manual harvesting, successive sorting. Innovation in the cellar: micro-oxygenation, aging in large Stockinger vats or barrels according to the desired expression (white, red, dry or semi-dry), with moderate yields.

Style & aging

The wines combine precision, freshness, and density. The whites express ripe citrus and saline notes; the reds are structured, fruity, with silky tannins and a spicy profile. Quickly revealed, some aging vintages reach 10 to 15 years.

Iconic cuvées

  • Cantalouette Blanc: dry white, lively and expressive.

  • La Gloire de mon Père: pleasurable red, ripe with tension.

  • Le Moulin des Dames: deep red, complex, aged in barrel.

  • Cuvée des Conti Blanc: aromatic white, balanced and charming.

  • Les Anciens Francs (Côtes de Bergerac): pure Cabernet Franc, fresh, long aging.
