Elegant breed, frank expression and affirmed terroir

Château Roylland is an estate whose origins date back to the early 20th century. Located on an area of about 20 hectares, it produces a refined red wine driven by respectful viticulture and precise vinifications.

Terroir & grape varieties

The soils, composed of a mix of gravel, clay-sandy and limestone, offer naturally favorable drainage. The vineyard is planted at high density with a typical grape variety: 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc.

Viticulture & aging

Adopting sustainable viticulture practices, the estate favors manual harvesting, controlled grassing, and selective sorting. Vinification is carried out plot by plot, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks, gentle extraction, followed by aging for 12 to 15 months in French barrels (≈ 40% new wood).

Style & signature wines

Petite Royllande (second wine): with more immediate aromas, this wine charms from 2–3 years, while expressing the estate's identity in a more accessible way.
