A family saga, four generations of passion

Established for over a century in Serraboella (Neive), the family estate is now run by Renato Cigliuti, surrounded by Dina, Claudia, and Silvia. It cultivates about 7.5 ha: 6 ha in the Serraboella cru and 1.5 ha in Bricco di Neive, with artisanal production of about 30,000 bottles per year .

Respectful viticulture and meticulous work

Vines aged 25 to 55 years, grown in organic farming with manual harvesting, systematic thinning since the 1960s to ensure maturity and concentration . Plots oriented southwest on limestone soils (Nebbiolo, Dolcetto) and more clayey to the southeast (Barbera).

Natural vinification & sober aging

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, without commercial yeasts. Long macerations, then aging in large Slavonian casks or French barrels depending on the cuvées. No filtration, limited sulfites to magnify the expression of the terroir .

Signature style: elegance, purity & horizon

The Barbarescos (Serraboella & Vie Erte) develop a complex bouquet – violet, black cherry, spices – and build silky tannins with a profile that is both fine and long. The Nebbiolo Langhe offers a more immediate but structured expression, often compared to a great Barbaresco .
