Located in Serdiana, Cantina Argiolas draws its roots from a vision of quality established by Antonio Argiolas. A true pioneer, he focused on the modernization and enhancement of Sardinian grape varieties as early as 1938. His sons, Franco and Giuseppe, and the current generation continue this approach, cultivating around 250 ha of vineyards in several key areas such as Trexenta and Sulcis.

Philosophy & Winemaking

Argiolas advocates for environmentally friendly viticulture, focused on local varieties. Manual harvesting, indigenous fermentations, and aging in stainless steel or wooden vats depending on the range, ensure the expression of the terroir. The estate combines tradition and innovation, with projects for varietal conservation and village to prestige cuvées.

Iconic Cuvées

  • Is Argiolas (Vermentino di Sardegna): fresh and saline white with floral and mineral aromas.

  • Costamolino (Vermentino DOC): a blend of fruity purity and marine liveliness.

  • Costera (Cannonau/Carignano/Bovale): balanced, concentrated, and fresh red, perfect for daily use or at the table.

  • Turriga: a prestigious, expressive, and vibrant cuvée, a symbol of Sardinian wines.

  • Complementary Series: Carignano del Sulcis Riserva, Monica/Carignano/Bovale rosé, Nasco in white and sweet.

Wine Style

Argiolas wines are recognized for their purity, balance, and Mediterranean roots. The whites reveal minerality and freshness, while the reds express structure, finesse, and a typical gastronomic accompaniment. Turriga, at the forefront, embodies the controlled power of the terroir, ready to age.
