Founded in 1969 in Erbusco by Maurizio Zanella, Ca’ del Bosco has become a global reference for its Franciacorta wines. The estate now spans over 160 hectares of organic farming, planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Bordeaux red grape varieties. It has played a major role in the rise of the DOCG Franciacorta.

Philosophy & winemaking

The estate embodies a vision where the vine precedes the wine: manual harvesting, sorting, careful washing of the grapes via a "berry spa," and fermentation with minimal sulfur. Aging is done according to the "Ca’ del Bosco Method," including riddling and disgorging in a neutral atmosphere. The approach is respectful, balanced, using technology to enhance the terroir without altering it.

Iconic cuvées

  • Cuvée Prestige: a very balanced entry-level multivintage, marked by its freshness and finesse.

  • Vintage Collection: unique vintages expressing terroir and vintage with precision.

  • Annamaria Clementi: prestige cuvée, zero dosage, aged long on lees.

  • Satèn: creamy sparkling wine made exclusively from Chardonnay and/or Pinot Blanc.

  • Corte del Lupo Bianco / Rosso: still wines in IGT, white or red, made from Bordeaux grape varieties and local expression.

Wine style

Elegant, precise, with a creamy bubble and great purity, the wines of Ca’ del Bosco combine structure and finesse. The sparkling wines show indulgence and length, while the still wines demonstrate a beautiful aromatic profile and careful winemaking.
