Domaine de Lauzières – Mineral Biodynamics in the Heart of the Alpilles

A High-Altitude Vineyard Nestled in Provence

Located in Mouriès, at the foot of the Alpilles massif, the Domaine de Lauzières spans 31 hectares of vines and 20 ha of olive trees, in a wild and preserved environment. Its name comes from the "lauzes," these typical flat stones, testifying to a very stony terroir, poor and draining, perfect for the vine.

Biodynamics, Purity & Search for Balance

Converted to biodynamics since 2010, the estate practices parcel vinifications, minimalist interventions, and respectful viticulture that values the energy of the soil. Yields are low, harvesting is manual, and sulfur is used sparingly.

Grape Varieties:

  • Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre,

  • and a little Cinsault and Carignan

→ for structured but elegant reds, and gastronomic rosés.

A Cellar Carved into the Rock

The architecture of the cellar follows the relief, promoting gravity in all stages of winemaking. Fermentations are done in concrete or stainless steel tanks, then aging in barrels or casks, depending on the cuvées, for 12 to 18 months.

Style: Precision, Tension & Identity

The wines of the estate are distinguished by their mineral freshness, their verticality, their aerial texture, and their ability to evolve with finesse. The hot climate is offset by the altitude and winds that maintain balance.

Flagship Cuvées

  • Les Baumelles: gastronomic rosé, saline and expressive.

  • Éole: the estate's heart red, complex Syrah-Grenache, spicy, with a beautiful length.

  • Le Vallon: more powerful parcel cuvée, for aging.

  • L’Antygone: ambitious cuvée, dense and chiseled, from the finest grapes.

  • Olivier: a high-quality AOP olive oil, in perfect symbiosis with the vine.
