A Bold Sixth Generation
Daughter of François Gros, Anne took over the family estate in 1988. In a few years, her 6.5 ha — spread across Burgundy, Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Romanée, Échezeaux, Clos Vougeot, and Richebourg — became one of the most sought-after addresses in the Côte de Nuits .
Biodynamic and Parcel-Based Viticulture
Old vines — often more than 50 years old, some centenarian — worked according to organic and biodynamic principles. Manual harvesting, use of indigenous yeasts, thermo-regulated cement vats for reds, stainless steel for whites .
Style: Purity, Elegance, Finesse
The Pinot Noirs signed by Anne Gros combine bright fruit, polished tannins, discreet salinity, and silky texture. The Whites reveal saline tension, floral freshness, and saline minerality, reflecting Jurassic terroirs .
Iconic Cuvées
Burgundy & Hautes-Côtes (Marine): perfect for introduction — red fruits/spices or fresh whites/lemon .
Chambolle-Musigny “Combe d’Orveau” & Vosne “Les Barreaux”: pure expression of climate, intense finesse .
Grands Crus: Échezeaux Les Loachausses, Clos Vougeot, Richebourg — concentrated, racy, aged 16 months in barrels (up to 80% new). The Richebourg shines with its depth and longevity .
Philosophy: Terroir Over Volume
No desire to expand the area: her ambition is to let each locality speak. Respectful vinification, gentle extraction, measured aging, everything is centered around pure parcel expression
