Born from the meeting of three major figures in wine – François Massoc (Chilean oenologist), Pedro Parra (world-renowned soil expert), and Louis-Michel Liger-Belair (icon of Vosne-Romanée) – the Aristos estate embodies the rare alliance between Burgundian precision and Andean intensity. Founded in the early 2000s, the project is based on a conviction: Chile can produce great terroir wines, elegant, deep, and capable of aging gracefully.

Terroir & Philosophy

The estate is located in the heights of Cachapoal Andes, at over 900 meters altitude. The vines, rooted in poor soils of decomposed granite, benefit from a cool climate with high thermal amplitude, ideal for producing tense, chiseled, and complex wines. Viticulture is artisanal, conducted without herbicides or systematic irrigation, with a deep respect for living organisms.

Vinification & Style

At Aristos, each cuvée reflects a specific place. The vinifications are slow, natural, the extractions gentle, and the aging long in old Burgundian barrels. The style of the wines combines purity, finesse, and depth, far from the excesses of maturity or aging. These are wines of relief, of aging potential, and of truth.

Iconic Cuvées

  • Duquesa d’A (Cabernet Sauvignon): one of the greatest reds of Chile, with rare elegance, deep, graphite, straight.

  • Baron d’A (Chardonnay): mineral, tense, almost Chablis-like, far from South American standards.

  • Duque d’A (Bordeaux blend): controlled power, noble texture, a racy wine for aging.

  • Los Príncipes: introductory cuvées, fine and expressive, reflecting the estate's DNA with accessibility.
