Within the prestigious terroir of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the Domaine Bosquet des Papes brilliantly embodies the spirit and richness of this mythical appellation. Founded in 1860 by the Boiron family, the property remains today in the hands of the same lineage, represented by Nicolas Boiron, a representative of the sixth generation. This deep connection between family tradition and exceptional terroir is reflected in wines of rare depth, true to the southern soul of the region.

A sunny and complex terroir

The 40 hectares of the estate extend over a mosaic of terroirs typical of the appellation: rolled pebbles, sands, red clays, and limestones, spread over about twenty carefully identified plots. This geological diversity, combined with respectful viticulture and the high average age of the vines (often more than 50 years), allows for the creation of wines of great complexity, where natural concentration blends with remarkable freshness.

The Bosquet des Papes style: concentration, elegance, and depth

The wines of the estate are distinguished by their generous structure, their aromatic richness (garrigue, black fruits, sweet spices, leather), and their aging potential. Grenache, the king grape variety, is magnified in a style that is both powerful and harmonious, often complemented by Syrah and Mourvèdre for depth and structure. The oak is measured, always in service of the fruit.

A philosophy centered on heritage and precision

At Bosquet des Papes, tradition does not mean stagnation. While respect for heritage is central, the work in the vineyard is now precise, plot-specific, and guided by an intimate knowledge of the soils. Vinifications are conducted traditionally, with partial or total destemming depending on the year, and long aging in foudres or demi-muids, to reveal the identity of each cuvée.
