A family estate rich in 200 years of history

Founded in 1809, the estate has been passed down through four generations in Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin. Bernard Moreau, who arrived in the 1970s, later entrusted the reins to his sons Alexandre and Benoît from 1990, who continue a philosophy that is both respectful and ambitious .

Organic/biodynamic viticulture and controlled yields

On approximately 15 ha (12 ha white, 3 ha red), the estate is managed with organic farming and biodynamic practices, without herbicides, frequent plowing, de-budding, and manual harvesting .

Precise vinifications & subtle aging

The chardonnays are aged 12–18 months in barrels (10-25% new), the pinot noirs 12–20 months (10-50% new) — never filtered or fined, long aging but without excessive wood .

Style: purity, depth & terroir

The style is vibrant: subtle, mineral, and structured whites (from Chassagne village to Chevalier-Montrachet GC), silky tannins and spicy bouquet for the reds, with tension and salinity .

Flagship cuvées

  • Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru, Chassagne-Montrachet 1ers Crus (La Cardeuse monopole, Maltroie, Chenevottes, etc.)

  • Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly

  • Pinot Noir village & Vieilles Vignes reds

These are references from the Côte de Beaune, expressing finesse and elegance
